Tuesday, Sep 8, 2020
2:00pm – 3:00pm
Presented by Allison DeVito and Raven Lanier
Lecture Part lecture, part workshop, this breakout session, led by presenters who have shared roles in their libraries and online learning communities, will explore how copyright impacts online education. The session will focus on why copyright considerations are different for residential and online learning and why it is important to consider copyright when developing online courses, whether the courses are open (like MOOCs) or are credit bearing. The presenters will share their experiences training faculty and developing best practices, as well as how to scale copyright services as online education continues to grow.
